As Florida Hospital's Centennial year draws closer, it is time to reflect on the past, look at our remarkable accomplishments, and most importantly, set a vision for the future.

For almost 100 years, Florida Hospital has provided exceptional care to our patients, and today we are a nationally recognized health care leader.

As the Central Florida community has grown, so has Florida Hospital. It is our mission and responsibility to plan for this growth and the increasing demands on health care that come with it.

Recently we announced the first steps in our vision that will lead us into the next century of care, including major expansion and renovation plans that will impact all seven campuses eventually.

In developing the innovative design of the expansion projects, Florida Hospital administration consulted with national experts in a variety of fields.

The feedback received from this group of experts coupled with incorporating evidence-based design allows us to deliver more patient-centered care.

By creating this total healing atmosphere, patients will be able to focus their energy on fighting illness and disease with the help of their surroundings.
